March 15, 2012
WARNING TO THE REST OF THE NHL: Beware, the best hockey player in the world is back!
Sidney Crosby is set to return to the lineup tonight against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden as the Pittsburgh Penguins attempt to win their tenth consecutive game. Sidney has missed 40 games since his last appearance on Dec. 5 against the Boston Bruins and has played in only eight games (2 – 10 – 12) in the 2011-2012 season.
Despite his absence from the Penguins lineup due to concussion-like symptoms, the Penguins captain has continued to work hard in practice and maintained his focus on skill development. Check out this video of Sidney honing his skills during the early part of his recovery:
There is no doubting that Sid is the best hockey player in the world – his skill set and hockey sense are unmatched. What’s even more certain is that Sidney is also one of the hardest working hockey players on the planet.
